It is fishing port where trade of the tuna is still conducted. Every year at the beginning of July "The celebration of the tuna" is organized here.

Saint-Jean-de-Lyuz — the known resort which is famous for the sandy beaches and excellent kitchen. In Saint-Jean-de-Lyuze the center of thalassotherapy "Hélianthal" is located. The city is located to the south from the resort of Biarritz. On other river bank Nivel is located the seaside resort Sibur, to the East — the balneoterapevtichesky resort of Kambo-le-Ben.
