In the rating of the most expensive cities of the world there were changes: the first three places are held now by Paris, Hong Kong and Zurich. Until recently among leaders steadily there were Singapore and Osaka.
The rating is already more than 30 years Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU), analysis department of the Economist magazine.
According to EIU, the prices sharply fell in Singapore because of the mass outflow of foreign workers and employees caused by a pandemic. Bangkok was also rolled away on 20 positions and now takes the 46th place.
Moscow fell by 20 positions and it appeared on the 106th place.
In the five of the cheapest cities for accommodation - the Syrian Damascus, Caracas (Venezuela) and also Tashkent and Almaty.
Many Chinese cities, on the contrary, rose above in rating as trade war between the USA and China led to increase in prices.
The biggest jump up in rating made Tehran - at once on 27 positions. It happened because of the economic sanctions inflicted on Iran that influenced deliveries of goods.
