Where in the EU the housing prices in the first quarter grew 2020

In the EU housing rose in price for 5.5% in comparison with a year back.

According to the data published by Eurostat among 27 EU member states (plus Great Britain):

   The highest annual increase in prices for housing in the first quarter was recorded 2020 in Luxembourg (+14%), Slovakia (+13.1%), Estonia (+11.5%), Poland (+11.3%) and Portugal (+10.3%), reports an information portal. The real estate only in Hungary (-1.2%) fell in price.

   In comparison with the last quarter, the largest growth was recorded in Portugal (+4.9%), Estonia (+4.8%) and Slovakia (+4.0%) whereas decrease was observed on Malta (-4.3%), in Hungary (-1.1%), Ireland (-0.8%) and Belgium (-0.1%).

   Since 2007 the rent steadily grew in EU member states during the entire period up to the first quarter 2020 while the housing prices considerably fluctuated.
