The offer of lease of housing grew in Paris by 64%
According to the research conducted by the French information portal, the offer of real estate objects in lease in the large cities of France in a year grew by 14.9%.
Growth is especially noticeable in Paris: offers became 64% more. Also other large cities did not stand aside. In Nice growth was 52%, in Bordeaux – 39%, in Rennes – 34% and in Nantes – 32%.
The coronavirus remains the factor transforming the market. Owners of the furnished tourist housing because of small number of tourists decide to return the objects on the market of long-term lease. On the other hand, the working tenants can refuse housing as they lose work and come back home, and students – because pass to distance training. In Paris outflow of tenants became especially considerable.
According to experts, the situation speaks not only absence of tourists. The trend was observed last year. It turned out to be consequence "toughenings of a lease term of the furnished tourist housing in the large cities, – Alexis Alban, the deputy CEO of the company for the real estate which specializes in long-term lease of the furnished housing emphasizes. An essence of the rules approved a few years ago that in the majority of the large cities the house owner under the threat of a penalty to €50 thousand cannot lease the main housing for the term of more than 120 days in a year.
