The ancient castle of the 16th century is located in the small town of Fikhtenau, Baden-Württemberg. The lock is located on the way of popular tourist route Romantische Straße. "The road of romantics" extends from Main through Franconia, the Bavarian Swabia and Upper Bavaria — to the Alpine tops. The town is very silent, the distance to Stuttgart makes about 150 km, to Nuremberg – about 110 km. To the known town of Romanticheskaya Dinkelsbyul Road which has kept charm of the Middle Ages, only 8 km. It is possible to call all its historic center sight. The park with oaks, sequoias and fruit trees occupies 1 hectare. The building with three wings has been built in the 16th century, ladder bay windows are dated 17-18 century, 4 angular towers have been added in the 19th century.
