Description

The magnificent lock 13 of century restored with maintaining style of late Gothic of the 15th century is located to Meine, in Northern Bavaria. The area of the lock is 4716 sq.m, and the area of the adjacent territory – 15,646 sq.m. The lock is on slope of the hill and forms the wrong quadrangle consisting of the Northern wing with tower with chapel, the Southern wing with premises and the central part with aula and pass to east extension with magnificent donzhon. The lock is surrounded with ancient fortification which partially reaches 6 meters in height and is constructed with opportunity for walks on it.

To the west from the main building there is office building, also in the territory of witness mark, the parking, inhabited and economic extensions and also vineyards, the park, the forest. The site has extent from the East on the West about 180 m, and from the North on the South - 130 m. The lock enjoys stunning panoramic view of the valley. The lock is under protection of the state – 4 wings of outer side, city wall and fortress of the 13th century.

In the lock – 50 rooms, including the huge hall for receptions up to 400 guests, but the number of rooms for accommodation is limited. Halls for conferences and seminars: The knightly hall (up to 200 people), the Small Hall (up to 150 people), the Red room (up to 40 people), the Weapon hall (up to 40 people), the Royal room (up to 20 people), the Trophy room (up to 15 people), the Gentlemen's hall (up to 20 people).
