One of the most known centers of winter holidays of Austria, the town of Kitsbyuel lies in the East of Tyrol, in the picturesque valley near merge of several rivers at once - Kitsbyueler-Akhe, Yokhberger-Akhe, Rayter-Akhe and Ashauer-Akhe. Its main ornament - massive Ridge Vilder-Kayzer to the northwest which even despite the remoteness (about 20 km) towers over closer spurs like toothed wall. Kitsbyuel - the center of the big alpine skiing region which includes resorts Auras, Kirkhberg, Yokhberg, Pass-Turn and Ashau.
